How to submit Passport online process?
All Indian Citizens who wish to travel abroad should have a Valid Passport or Travel Document.According to the Passport Act 1967,the government of India may issue different types of Passports and travel documents such as Ordinary Passport,official passport, Diplomatic Passport, Emergency Certificate and Certificate of Identity for the purpose.The new system of Passport Online Process become a great success,with this applicant can book the slot and visit the concern PSK as per the slot allocation time.
Basic Requirements for Applying the Passport:
For getting the passport,application form should be submitted with all necessary documents ,which supports the applicants date of birth ,Address Proof of the applicant,Identify Proof of the Applicant ,Proof of Nationality and other supporting documents.After Submission of the application form the concerned verification authority/Person will verify all the documents and based on the documents we submitted ,they may accept or reject the form.
Proof of Date OF Birth:
For Proof of Date of Birth attach one of the following Documents:
For applicants born on or after 26.01.89, it is mandatory to submit Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any government authorized office to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths is acceptable. The Birth Certificate should contain the name of children(Applicant), name of father and mother, date of birth, place of birth, registration number of the birth certificate and date of registration of the certificate and sex of the applicant. If the Certificate doesn’t contain the name of child, a declaration form should be submitted on plain paper signed by parents specifying the name of the child.
a. Birth certificate issued by a Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificates by the Registrar of Births & Deaths.
b. School leaving certificate or Secondary School leaving certificate or Certificate of Recognized Boards from the school where the applicant last attended or any other recognized educational institution
c. Affidavit sworn before a Magistrate/Notary stating date and place of birth as per the specimen in Annexure “A” by illiterate or semi-illiterate applicants (who qualification is Less than 5th class).
Proof of Present Address/Residence:-
For Proof of Address attach one of the following documents:
a. Water Bill ,it should be in the name of the applicant
b. Telephone (land line or postpaid mobile bill) with applicants name
c. Electricity bill which contains applicants name
d. Income Tax returns
e. Election Voter Photo ID card
f. Gas connection bill,latest bill not older than 3 months
g. Certificate from Employer of reputed and widely known companies on letter head (Only public limited companies can give address proof on company letter head along with seal.Computerised print-outs shall not be entertained)
h. A copy of Spouse’s passport , Address on spouse passport should match with application address.
i. Applicant’s current and valid ration card will be accepted only in case if the applicant provides another supporting document as specified by passport authority.
j.In Case of Minors, Parent’s passport copy should be enclosed (First and last page)
k. Aadhaar Card / e-Aadhaar will be accepted as proof of Address subject to verification with Aadhaar Base.
l. Registered Rent Agreement (for a period of more than one year)
m. Photo passbook of running Bank Account (Scheduled Public Sector Banks, Scheduled Private Sector Indian Banks and Regional Rural Banks only)
Note: Applicants are supposed to submit the proof of address of the present residency only, irrespective of the date from which he/she has been residing at the given address. However, the applicant is required to mention all the place of stay during previous one year in the Passport application form with out fail.
Proof Of Identity:
For Proof of Identity submit one of the below documents:
a. Election Voter Photo ID card
b. Service Photo Identity Card issued by State/Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, local bodies or Public Limited Companies
c. SC/ST/ OBC Permanent caste certificates
d. Freedom Fighter Identity Cards,issued by government.
e. Arms Licenses
f. Property Documents such as sale patta’s, Registered Deeds….. etc
g. Rations Cards which contains the image of the applicant.
h. Pension Documents such as ex-servicemen’s Pension Book/Pension Payment order, ex-servicemen’s Widow/Dependent Certificates, Old Age Pension Order, Widow Pension Order
i. Railway Identity Cards
j. PAN Card,Name on PAN card should match with name on application form
k. Bank/ Kisan/ Post Office Passbooks,should be older than one year
l. Student Photo Identity Cards issued by Govt approved Educational Institutions for full time courses only
m. Driving Licenses which contains the Photo of the applicant (valid and within the jurisdiction of State of submission of application)
n. Birth Certificates issued under the RBD Act
o. Gas Connection Bill (of one year before and current bill)
p. Aadhaar Card
Passport Online Process:
- Click on the official website http://passportindia.gov.in/
- Click Register (New User) option
- Fill the register form with your name,email ID,passport office(Based on the present Residential address) and other details.
- Once Registered as a new user,click the option login and enter Login ID and password
- Click the category as ” Apply for fresh /Reissue of the Passport”
- Enter the type of passport we are applying for
- Enter all the basic details of your self,family details,Present Address,Emergency contact person,References and other details.
- Finally after submission of the application,the page will be directed to payment link there we can choose the pay and schedule option.”Pay and Book Appointment”
- Once after the payment is done,then we can schedule the appointment.
- After that we are supposed to visit the concern PSK on date and time we have chosen for appointment and submitted all the necessary.
- If every things is done then you will provided with a acknowledgement letter.
In Case of lost Passport,first lodge a complaint in the police station and then approach the PSK and follow the instructions for getting a new Passport.
